NHS Policies

Probation Policy: If you are put on probation at the end of a semester, you must complete all your missing hours from the previous semester, 5 additional hours, and the 20 hours required the current semester.

(In effect since Fall 2021)

Drop out/Miss event Policy: If you miss an event/drop out less than 48 hours in advance, you must find a replacement, and if not, you must complete 2 additional hours (this means 22 required hours). If it happens a second time, you must get 6 additional hours (26 required hours).

Meeting Attendance Policy: Missing one meeting will result in a warning. Missing two or more meetings will result in consideration for probation. You will receive an email alerting you if you are on meeting probation. The make-up would include an hour for every meeting missed!

(In effect since Fall 2022) 

Opportunity Logging Policy: A service opportunity must be submitted in Mobile Serve no more than 5 days after the day of volunteering. Any submissions after that time will not be valid for approval and will not count towards NHS hours.

(In effect since Fall 2023)
